Investment Strategy

We seek opportunities to implement our inflection point investment strategy.  This approach targets companies that have removed significant early development risks and are now positioned to achieve critical milestones that will dramatically increase value.  Typically, these companies have technologies that are commercially tested and proven, are early entrants into large markets, have the ability to rapidly scale their operations, are led by experienced management teams, and need expansion capital to execute their growth plans.

Further, we believe that best practices in corporate citizenship, stakeholder transparency, ecological stewardship, and human resources management provide exceptional value to investors, and translate directly into superior financial returns.

We primarily invest in companies that are located in the Mid-Atlantic states in order to maintain close face-to-face contact with managers.  Company investments typically range in size from $500,000 to $2,000,000, and are staged through multiple financings to manage risk.  Board representation is required, where we hope to provide guidance on strategy, sales and finance, relevant introductions and business assistance.
